In Paper Plane, Nifraz Rifaz announces himself as a striking new voice in contemporary fiction. His debut novel pulls back the curtain on the complexities of Sri Lankan identity through the turbulent psyche of Zed, a frustrated, musical, an deeply human protagonist wrestling with London life, office romance, and the unresolved traumas that tether him to the past.
I was honoured to work with Nifraz to bring this novel to life. And I’m excited that he has asked me to work with him again on his second novel.
